DevOps Engineer Conexa First (Contractor)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with standard tools and services.
  • Automate application deployment using standard tools.
  • Establish continuous delivery pipelines for client test and production environments.
  • Offer system support including responding to monitoring alerts.
  • Stay updated on Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tools.
  • Manage development environments using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
  • Develop CI/CD systems and deployments.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and automate necessary AWS and Azure resources.
  • Create new services like Docker images, Helm charts, and Jenkins pipelines to align with the product roadmap.
  • Architect and set up multi-site Kafka clusters.
  • Identify and address potential single points of failure.
  • Implement cost optimization plans and scripts for resource efficiency.
  • Work with the team to plan and monitor AWS and Azure resources.
  • Capture and analyze DevOps requirements with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain expertise in domain best practices and relevant methodologies.
  • Collaborate within the tech team to ensure proper process design and implementation.
  • Prioritize security in integration design and process changes.
  • Translate business requirements into documentation.


Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or similar software engineering roles.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and cloud formation scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Apache Kafka.
  • Working knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Solr.
  • Proficiency in Git and Git workflows.
  • Experience with Selenium for automated testing.
  • Good grasp of Ruby or Python.
  • Experience in high-volume transaction applications and software engineering.
  • Understanding of process transformation principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of business systems and management information systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges and high-performance work.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy levels.
