Senior Backend Engineer - About the role:

Mission - It's a pivotal role in shaping our cutting-edge systems' backbone. You will tackle complex challenges and drive the development of our backend infrastructure with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and high performance.

You will collaborate with a team of seasoned engineers to architect and implement robust APIs, enhance database efficiency, and ensure seamless integration across our platform. You will deliver a reliable and seamless experience to our users, empowering them to easily navigate the complex world of crypto compliance.

What you will do:
  • You will be solving problems from a holistic perspective with a focus on the backend part.
  • Explore new ways of building and optimizing a scalable and quick system
  • We aim for a "you build it, you run it" environment, where you will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • You will be involved in the product firsthand, proposing solutions and enhancements to make it go from great to brilliant
  • Help us maintain and care about our tech stack: allow time to refactor and ensure the code is maintainable and scalable
What you need:
  • 5+ years of full-time Backend Software Engineering experience
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with REST APIs and WebSockets
  • Writing well-organised, efficient, and easily testable code
  • Proficiency in NodeJS and Javascript/Typescript development
Nice to have:
  • Experience with NestJS
  • Genuine interest in blockchain technology, you are up-to-date with new trends
  • Knowledge of design patterns and when to apply them
  • GCP / IaC using Terraform
  • Knowledge of React
