The Investment Operations Analyst role at Citi Private Bank is a key position within EMEA Private Bank Investment Operations, offering operational support to the Private Bank Investment Business across various products.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Processing, verifying, and maintaining records for investment products based on provided documentation/instructions.
  • Handling various income events and corporate actions until final settlement.
  • Preparing and sending out announcement letters for income events or corporate actions.
  • Collecting clients' instructions and passing them to custodians.
  • Supporting daily activities in Investment Operations.
  • Investigating discrepancies and ensuring robust internal controls.
  • Assisting in reconciliation efforts and identifying root causes of cash/stock breaks.
  • Maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Responding to inquiries related to income events and corporate actions.
  • Contributing to procedures, SLA maintenance, and automation improvement initiatives.
  • Participating in UAT tests for new systems/products and controlling automated processes.
  • Contributing towards achieving business goals and handling delegated complex tasks.

If you are a motivated individual with:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate actions (experience in shared service centers is a plus).
  • Experience in securities processing.
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Knowledge of securities, capital markets, and investment products.
  • Fluency in English (Knowledge of Polish is an advantage).
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Outlook) and a team player attitude.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills.
  • Understanding of working in a fast-paced environment.
