PySpark Developer

We are looking for Pyspark Developers to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team on a project in aeronautical sector for a big international client. You will be joining a team that takes part in aircraft production management through an internal platform.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Mission/activities:

• Performing data transformation in Spark
• Building data models
• Working closely with the Architect and Business Analyst

Tech stack:

• Spark
• Python
• Pyspark
• AWS

Must have requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Python according to best practices
• Experience with Spark
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant area
• Excellent communication skills
• English level B2/C1
• Being open to business trips and occasional visits in our office in Katowice

Nice to have have requirements:

• Knowledge of AWS – S3, Glue
