Role Purpose:

IG Group is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join the Global Internal Audit team. This role involves working alongside the UK-based Internal Audit Team to evaluate the business's risk management framework, provide assurance, and insights. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in finance, economics, or mathematics with a keen interest in financial markets. We are seeking a Senior Associate with robust interpersonal skills who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:

The Internal Audit function is pivotal in supporting the Board and Executive Management in safeguarding the organization's assets, reputation, and sustainability. The scope of Internal Audit spans the entire business, and tasks will vary based on the Annual Internal Audit Plan. As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be accountable for planning, executing, and reporting on assurance work across a diverse range of business activities.

Requirements:

  • Years of Post Qualified Experience in Internal Audit
  • Expertise in Internal Audit/Risk Management/Compliance
  • An analytical problem-solving approach
  • Proficiency in written English
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to contribute well-thought-out opinions
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented team player
