As the Excitation Specialist your role involves providing technical leadership and innovative thinking in power plant fundamentals. Part of the Emerson Electrical Group, you will support sales team technical aspects for Emerson power projects and handle internal and external customer interactions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Integrating excitation subsystem components into a functional system.
- Conducting factory acceptance testing.
- Performing on-site customer visits for walk downs, maintenance, and installations.
- Acquiring test equipment as needed for projects.
- Leading teams and showcasing strong supervisory skills.
- Understanding project scope, schedule, cost, and delivery.
Who You Are:
You excel at planning and taking ownership of tasks, decisions, and outcomes. You communicate effectively in various settings and maintain strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Experience with excitation systems and electrical power systems protection.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work autonomously under pressure and deliver results.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools like Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and E3.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%.
