About the job

An opportunity has arisen for a UX/UI Designer to join our development team and work on several projects. The right person will be an experienced UX/UI Designer with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsand be responsible for the UX research and design across several new services being introduced by Our Client. The person appointed will work closely with a high performing cross functional team of business analysts, developers, and quality assurance specialists to understand the needs of our users and deliver a design that meets their business needs.

Job requirements
  • Have experience of working in a high performing multi-disciplinary development team, specifically with business analysts, developers, and quality assurance specialists
  • Can analyse business requirements
  • Have a good understanding of development cycles, development methodologies and processes
  • Can identify design issues and methodically work to their resolution
  • Be able to design graphic user interface elements, menus, tabs, widgets, page navigation, search fields etc.
  • Be able to illustrate design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Be able to develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
  • Be able to conduct adjustments based on user feedback
  • Can set and achieve goals
  • Be up to date with best practices in UI design
  • Sector experience (promoting quality and accountability in education and training services)
