DevOps/DBA Position at Shiji Poland Sp. z o. o.

  • First, be a DevOps and then a DBA
  • Act as a bridge between development teams and DevOps
  • Mediate and advise on responsibilities between infrastructure and application layers
  • Design database structure and collaborate with other teams technically
  • Implement backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies within database clusters
  • Build and set up new database clusters
  • Administer existing database clusters and databases
  • Create and maintain technical and non-technical documentation for database systems and related tools

Requirements:

  • Good grasp of AWS
  • Solid understanding of Python/Bash/Go
  • Proficient in Linux
  • Experience with Terraform/Ansible
  • Familiarity with Postgres/MySQL

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

How we operate - remote/hybrid work:

  • Employees within 50 km of the office (Katowice) visit 4 times a month
