What You Can Expect

This role is pivotal within the EMEA IC COE Team, responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing various intercompany activities. The individual in this position will handle tasks such as preparing and executing IC GBS and BPO recharges and accruals, IC balance sheet account reconciliation, IC month-end-close tasks, and IC out-of-balances resolution. The EMEA IC Sr Specialist will demonstrate a deep knowledge of intercompany processes and strong problem-solving abilities, liaising with Country Controllers, Corporate Accounting Team, Tax and Treasury, BPO providers, and other GBS IC COE Teams.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Responsible for Intercompany Period End Close for EMEA
  • Intercompany Reconciliation: manage the reconciliation of intercompany GL account balances between entities
  • Handle monthly allocation charges and share information with Controllers and relevant countries
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of recharges and present them during month-end close
  • Coordinate cost allocation and recharges of monthly GBS and BPO costs
  • Control and Compliance: Uphold SOX controls and compliance reporting requirements, managing the review process
  • Supervise and coordinate processes conducted by BPO Providers
  • Support Internal and External Audit & Tax: Provide audit samples, transaction analysis, and reconciliation support
  • Drive Process Improvements

What Makes You Stand Out

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP ERP
  • Knowledge of Blackline
  • Familiarity with Oracle HFM/Hyperion

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional analytical abilities and a solid grasp of accounting principles
  • Comprehensive understanding of Intercompany processes (RTR/PTP/ITC)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Highly motivated self-starter dedicated to delivering results and meeting strict deadlines
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, projects, and work effectively under time pressure
