Accountant – Stock

Your task:

• Processing stock/merchandise transactions:

• Posting daily and monthly stock movements and running interfaces
• Allocating goods used for own purposes to target cost account
• Executing stock reconciliation
• Calculating and posting goods' cost of purchase
• Reconciling statistical and accounting margins
• Calculating and posting Stock Valuation Allowance (SVA)
• Preparing and validating Stock Valuation Allowance related Reports
• Conducting analysis of accounting processes for various projects
• Maintaining high quality in bookkeeping by executing checks and controls

Execution of Audit procedures:

• Preparing standard reports
• Providing explanations for discrepancies and exceptions
• Responding to auditors' queries

Engagement in projects:

• Offering necessary inputs and tests for developed tools
• Focusing on standardization and simplification of processes
• Participating in automation initiatives
• Contributing to transition projects
• Meeting project timelines and documentation requirements

Additionally:

• Interacting with customers to deliver top-quality services
• Collaborating with stakeholders from different teams within the organization
• Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures
• Engaging in training for skills development
• Establishing a stable backup structure

Your qualifications:

• Accounting experience, with a preference for controlling
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous
• Familiarity with stock valuation topics
• Experience in margin controlling and reconciliation
• Ability to organize work efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Goal-oriented with good command of English (B1/B2)
