Senior Full-stack Developer

Place of Work: Cracow

Job Purpose:

We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Full-stack Developer to lead the maintenance, setup, and deployment of our Knowledge Bot Platform for various business units. Our goal is to empower insurance services that can understand user input, analyze it, fetch the correct information from different sources, and enable natural language interactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating in a SCRUM team with designers, frontend, and backend developers.
  • Managing and evolving cloud infrastructure: Experience with AWS DevOps and AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) is essential.
  • Deploying and managing backend services: Proficiency in Python, AWS CDK, and Linux is required.
  • Cooperating with other teams for API integrations across services.
  • Oversight of Zurich's AWS account and user access: Mastery of AWS console is a must.
  • Supervising Atlas/MongoDB account and user access: Knowledge of Atlas and MongoDB is necessary.
  • Promoting best practices, coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Designing and documenting architecture as the application expands.
  • Ensuring Conversational AI compliance with IT service controls: Familiarity with IT service control compliance is preferred.
  • Guaranteeing that security and compliance standards are adhered to in the developed application.
  • Utilized technologies and frameworks: React, Typescript, Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, AWS, Azure Entra, OIDC, Red Hat OpenShift, Azure Devops pipelines, Jira, Confluence.
Candidate's Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful project/product implementation with a minimum of 4-7 years of experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming, and Test Driven Development.
  • Extensive expertise in Machine Learning, including MLOps.
  • Robust familiarity with AWS DevOps, AWS CDK, JavaScript, React, Linux, Python, and bash.
  • Proficiency in one or more frontend frameworks (HTML5 / Angular / React).
  • Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development and ability to create Unit, Integration, and Functional Tests.
  • Experience in deploying AI solutions in production.
  • Knowledge of cloud and system architectures and their associated tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AWS deployment servers and EC2 instances.
  • Experience with PlanningIT/Alfabet, Okta, MongoDB.
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
