  • As SIEM engineer you will be developing use-cases to detect threats, vulnerabilities and hacker attacks.
  • In cooperation with analysts and customers you will be ensuring continuous optimization of use-cases and SIEM processes.
  • You will also take over the responsibility for use-case design and, as a result, for threat hunting in further security tools EDR).
  • Creation and maintenance of the documentation regarding the correlation of log sources will also be part of your tasks.
  • Furthermore you will be contributing to the development and implementation of concepts of prevention and defense against threats and attacks.
  • You have a degree in computer science or comparable technical training, ideally with a focus on IT security.
  • In addition, you bring in relevant expertise in the area of big data analytics and SIEM tools (Cribl/Splunk/Elastic).
  • You will also bee able to demonstrate your experience in the administration and operation of SIEM systems as well as in the area of log management.
  • You have good data visualization skills, experience in MITRE-ATT&CK and Expertise in technologies typically associated with SIEM.
  • Relevant certifications Splunk, GIAC) are beneficial.
  • You are characterized by quick comprehension, problem-solving skills as well as interdisciplinary and analytical thinking.
  • You also have a structured way of working and a high level of responsibility and service orientation.
  • Committed communication with manufacturers, service providers and customers as well as very good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.
