Our client provides just that opportunity. As a frontrunner in reshaping banking services digitally, they have established Cracow as a pivotal tech hub, where the majority of projects originate.

We are in search of a skilled Data / Platform Engineer to handle diverse tasks related to data process development, analysis, and maintenance on data platforms hosted on GCP.

Key responsibilities include analyzing data engineering pipelines, enhancing existing pipelines, transitioning processes between platforms and technologies, as well as adhering to or setting new data engineering standards. The ideal candidate must possess a solid grasp of CI/CD processes and be capable of supporting Data Operations (DataOps).

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Spark (Python or Scala)
  • Strong programming abilities
  • Sound data analytics skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • Experience with GCP data services, especially BigQuery and Dataproc
  • Understanding of cost and performance metrics within GCP
  • Proficiency in developing reporting tools
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills (regular interaction with diverse technical and business teams)

Desirable skills:

  • Familiarity with Airflow (DAGs development and system administration)
  • Experience in CI/CD tools and IaaC development
  • Understanding of SRE, Service Management, and application life-cycle management
