We are searching for an experienced Senior/Lead Kotlin (Java) Engineer to join our team. Here are the details:

  • Primary responsibility:
    • Upgrade and enhance the existing solution written in Kotlin
    • Improve application performance and ensure scalability of Kotlin services
    • Separate the solution from the old infrastructure to optimize it and implement robust logging and monitoring solutions for better service observability
    • Improve error handling and reporting mechanisms to provide detailed insights into service failures
    • Handle the full software development life-cycle, from understanding business needs to coding, deployment, and maintenance
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engage in product and sprint backlog meetings
    • Display a technology-agnostic positive attitude with a willingness to learn and implement solutions using various technologies
    • Work on high-performing, mission-critical, scalable, and resilient web-based applications and services
  • Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin programming language
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin
    • Familiarity with modern design patterns and experience in applying them
    • Experience with microservices and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Couchbase)
    • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, and Git
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication skills and a team-player mindset
    • B2 or higher level of English proficiency
  • Nice to have:
    • Proficiency in tools for provisioning and maintaining infrastructure (Terraform, AWS CDK)
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD) and K8S
