Your future colleagues:

You will be part of the "Factory of the Future" team in Group R&D. We are a group of enthusiastic, skilled experts who develop and implement the latest technologies for stone wool production. Our team focuses on upgrading production facilities with state-of-the-art OT & IT Solutions to maintain our leading position in the industry.

Currently, we are establishing a Data Science Team, and you could be a valuable addition.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing industrial data to drive automation improvements based on sensor insights.
  • Developing machine learning models for predictive maintenance and process enhancement.
  • Testing and enhancing machine learning models for maximum industrial benefits.
  • Interpreting complex data findings for actionable business insights.
  • Collaborating with the R&D team and working closely with engineers to implement data science solutions in production.

What we require:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science or relevant field, preferably in the production industry.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business and engineering departments.
  • Knowledge of IT/OT convergence (optional but advantageous).
  • Strong understanding of statistics and probability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques such as hypothesis testing and regression analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Grafana and Power BI.
  • Expertise in data manipulation libraries including pandas and NumPy.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to transform insights into actionable recommendations.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages, particularly Python.
  • Experience with data analysis libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Grafana and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of machine learning libraries (optional but advantageous).
