About Our Client

Our Client is a renowned production company, recognised globally for their high-quality products. They have a GBS structure in Warsaw, Poland.

Job Description

  • Conduct payroll accounting procedures for international entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks
  • Manage general ledger transactions, indluding accruals, corrections, and other journal entries
  • Participate in month-end activities and perform accounts reconciliation
  • Contribute to audit activities, both group and statutory
  • Support inventory and fixed assets accounting
  • Support compliance matters, including audits, statistical reporting, and statutory filings
  • Resolve internal customer queries, offering ad hoc reporting and conducting reconciliations as necessary
  • Adhere to established controls, policies, and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, participating in RTR-related projects at global and local levels
  • Play an integral role in the implementation of a new ERP system through active project involvement
  • Keep detailed work instructions and process documentation updated
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller and RTR Team Leader to ensure smooth operations. Provide support and guidance to fellow RTR accountants, fostering a collaborative environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in RTR / GL Accounting gained in an international environment (SSC/GBS)
  • Very good command of Polish and English (at least on a B2 level)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Excel in particular
  • Knowledge of SAP is essential (S/4 HANA will be an advantage)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team
