We are searching for an Engineer experienced in data engineering to be part of a thriving international project aimed at unleashing the potential of data and technology.


Our team is dedicated to developing a cloud-native personalization platform that empowers leading RASP and Ringier AG brands, impacting millions of users on a daily basis.

Key Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in JVM languages (Java 11/21) and frameworks (Spring Boot)
  • Experience in building and maintaining data-intensive applications using microservices architecture and Big Data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Airflow, and Druid
  • Proactive approach of 'You build it, you own it, you run it' for both development and operational tasks
  • Basic knowledge of Web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs, cookies, CDN/caching, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and languages

Additional Assets:
  • Familiarity with cloud computing on AWS (RDS, Kinesis, EKS, Athena, Dynamo DB, etc.)
  • General understanding of Machine Learning, including recommendation algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in live environments
