About the Project:

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled AI Engineer to be part of our Special Projects team, dedicated to exploring and implementing Generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies.

The main focus of this role will be actively participating in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that make use of Generative AI.

The ideal candidate for this position is a full-stack software engineer with a strong drive for innovation and a keen interest in integrating Generative AI into practical applications.

This individual should have a track record of building scalable solutions across the technology stack, as well as proficiency in utilizing cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

With a collaborative attitude, this person excels in team settings, collaborating closely with lead and senior engineers, product owners, and data scientists to deliver top-notch solutions.

Proficiency in Java Script for front-end development and Python for back-end development is crucial to ensure smooth integration across the stack.

Excellent communication skills and a talent for effective problem-solving significantly contribute to the team's achievements by translating intricate technical ideas into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Software Development:

Write, review, and maintain code for software solutions integrating Generative AI capabilities, ensuring compliance with best practices and project requirements.

Develop front-end components and user interfaces using current web technologies for a seamless user experience.

Take an active role in designing and implementing Cloud solutions, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI, for assigned projects or components within the team.

Participate actively in the entire development lifecycle, from initial design to production deployment, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Engage in architecture and code discussions, offering constructive feedback and suggestions to peers to enhance solutions' and code quality.

  • Generative AI Exploration:

Explore and apply Generative AI practices to address the company's specific needs and challenges.

Collaborate with diverse teams to identify the best applications of Generative AI for the business.

  • Continuous Learning and Improvement:

Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the team's capabilities.

Encourage a culture of curiosity and learning, fostering experimentation and growth.

Expected Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on Python and Java Script (React or similar), Cloud solutions, and the development-to-production lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience in building/deploying Data Science solutions.
  • A thirst for learning and applying new technologies, inspiring and driving innovation within the team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Generative AI is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in deploying and supporting Machine Learning/Large Language Models is a significant plus.
