Job Description:

The Client AI organization focuses on research and development in the field of AI with a focus on Edge, desktop, and mobile computing. Intel is seeking AI software developers for roles such as MLIR compiler, OpenVINO plugin, and software kernel library. In these positions, you will drive the development of new AI applications for Intel Client platforms in image classification, speech recognition, and natural language processing. As an AI Software developer, you will collaborate with cutting-edge AI hardware accelerators to deliver innovative AI solutions to Intel Client devices, including applications in generative AI and large language models.

We are a distributed team with engineers working in a hybrid model across Romania, Ireland, and Poland, open to senior candidates from all over Europe.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of programming experience
  • Proficiency in C++ and at least one of C/C#/Python/Bash/Makefiles
  • Experience in computer architecture, large-scale software systems, and production software engineering
  • Familiarity with OpenCV library and/or OpenVINO toolkit
  • Experience in compiler technologies, computer vision, high-performance computing, or deep-learning frameworks

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to design software based on architecture and requirements
  • Experience with graph-based algorithms and DSP programming
  • Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment
  • Problem-solving abilities and background in AI hardware accelerators
  • Knowledge of LLVM/MLIR and real-time operating systems
  • Embedded systems and driver development experience
