About the Role

Join the AudioworX team responsible for creating a top-notch audio framework and toolset supporting the development, tuning, measurement, and simulation of Harman amplifiers and head units. Your role involves developing audio frameworks and objects essential for car audio amplifier software.

Your Team

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will spearhead the development of audio frameworks and objects crucial to car audio amplifier software. There are no direct reports, and you will report to the DSP Senior Manager at AudioworX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing & developing audio technologies in C/C++.
  • Designing and developing audio framework features.
  • Porting audio processing objects.
  • Optimizing audio objects for specific target SoC.
  • Optimizing algorithms.
  • Simulating and validating audio technologies in different products.
  • Supporting architects in creating high-level designs.
  • Creating low-level designs (LLD).
  • Developing comprehensive documentation as per the ASPICE process.
  • Collaborating with tools & technology teams.

Qualifications

  • BE degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunication.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in signal processing.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • C++ experience can be substituted with strong Linux Audio driver experience.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn, particularly in C++.
  • Analytical thinking & quality-driven engineering skills with expertise in efficient debugging and problem-solving.
  • Experience with DSP processors like Sharc, TI, or similar.
  • Strong signal processing knowledge.
  • Working experience in Agile frameworks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ASPICE or similar processes.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python.
  • Experience with Jira and Scrum processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel as required.
