Optical Engineer

In light of the **dynamic growth** at Sii, we are currently seeking an Optical Engineer for the Product Design Studio Competency Center. • Developing optical solutions for illumination products (independently for car headlights and/or taillights)
• Working in accordance with diverse stages outlined in a program schedule, feasibility assessments, initial conceptualization, design validation, certification processes, and the production launch
• **Utilizing** CAD system (CATIA V5 or equivalent) for preparing optical simulations of projects
• Contributing to the establishment of design principles and standards
• Actively engaging with other departments to identify optimal compromises and **applying** expertise gained from diverse projects
• Evaluating the quality of initial product samples
• Providing assistance during the refinement of manufacturing processes, and, if necessary, preparing enhancements and corrections
• Offering support during the project launch phase

• Experience in designing optical systems for headlamps and/or taillights
• Completed higher technical studies, preferred: mechanics, automation, mechatronics, optical
• Very good knowledge of the English language
• Previous work with additional tools such as CATIA V5, lighting tools, rendering software, Ansys SPEOS, GOM Inspect, MS Office
• Strong spatial imagination, precision, and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a group and dispersed team (Poland/ Czech Republic)
