Please visit opportunity based in Warsaw Poland for a GL Senior Specialist (m/f/d) position to join the Business Support Center. You will be a part of a team responsible for providing high quality accounting service in the GL for internal clients around the globe. Along with daily operational tasks, you will also have an opportunity to take part in the process transition, including creating procedures, recognizing areas for enhancement and introducing improvements, and stabilizing the migrated process.

Responsibilities
  • Roles and responsibilities are determined for all supported entities worldwide.
  • Data maintenance relating to new, existing, and amended lease contracts.
  • Review of lease contract's elements.
  • Gathering input data from local teams related to lease contracts.
  • Maintenance of the data in the lease accelerator tool.
  • Management of monthly/quarterly output from the lease accelerator tool and distribution of appropriate journal entries to be posted.
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports to support routine reviews, accounting, and financial requirements.
  • Monitoring lease GL accounts, performing and reviewing reconciliation.
  • Participation in business service calls.
  • Support new transitions and standardization of the process.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • General data management.
Qualifications
  • Have minimum 1 year of lease accounting / analyst experience required (former experience with US GAAP revenue preferred)
  • Graduate min. BSc. degree or equivalent in accounting
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP or lease accounting tool
  • Have advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel expertise.
  • Demonstrate ability to work on and own initiatives.
  • Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, then make clear and timely decisions
  • Be self-reliance and ability to escalate appropriately.
  • Have organizational skills, be open-minded and receptive to change.
