As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be part of a team that will help the product grow, contributing with new ideas and implementing just-out and creative solutions to make them happen. You have full ownership over the whole process. By helping users to get compliant against financial institutions, we'll be helping the crypto ecosystem and adoption. Cense is a leading AML platform for on-chain and centralized exchange data. We offer the most comprehensive risk report to financial institutions, helping them onboard users in minutes.

Tasks:
  1. Be part of a collaborative and experienced engineering team, working cross-functionally with our Head of Engineering, Product Manager, and Design
  2. Design and implement technical solutions and own them ("You build it, you run it")
  3. Contribute to the architecture evolution, solving scalability problems and thinking about how to make the system more resilient to errors
  4. Have a user-centric view, providing a smooth experience while keeping technical excellence
  5. Full freedom to propose new ideas, and execute them in alignment with our company objectives
  6. Ensure to prioritize quality by implementing appropriate tests in collaboration with the team
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer involved in the development of frontend and backend solutions
  • Deep practical knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
  • Experience with NodeJS
  • You are a self-learner, highly motivated, and not afraid to pick up new technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You can fluently communicate in English
  • You have an interest in the cryptocurrencies/blockchain industry

Cense is a B2B SaaS enabling financial institutions to comply with AML and CFT regulation as it relates to crypto, particularly ahead of new regulation (MiCA) in 2024. CENSE AG sells software to financial institutions to facilitate crypto compliance as it relates to Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation rules. MiCA will come into play in July 2024, enforcing stricter compliance in crypto assets within financial institutions in Europe, many of which will be left unprepared. Our software mitigates an institution's exposure to massive regulatory fines, reduces operational costs, increases operational efficiency and accuracy, and increases dollar inflow to the balance sheet.
