Software Developer - Exciting Opportunity at Shiji Poland Sp. z o. o.

Your role will involve developing a segment of a distributed system tailored for the hospitality sector. This innovative solution empowers hotel staff and managers to efficiently manage reservations, payments, and services within and across hotels. The system comprises multiple domain-specific microservices created by dedicated cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver highly customizable features and widgets
  • Develop and maintain software features based on visual mockups and UX descriptions
  • Write tests to ensure quality
  • Produce high-quality, functional, and performant code
  • Demonstrate solid comprehension of best practices, processes, and design patterns in software development
  • Contribute to the development infrastructure
  • Participate in code reviews

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience as a JavaScript or Front-End Developer
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with web application performance optimization
  • Experience with JavaScript build systems (e.g., Babel, Webpack)
  • Proficiency in React and React Hooks
  • Interest in ensuring code quality through testing and reviews
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Jest/Enzyme, and Web Components
