your tasks

  • Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
  • Work directly with vendors to negotiate contracts for various services and products related to the event.
  • Create event project plans and monitor event deadlines to ensure they are met across all stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets and propose creative ways to keep budgets minimized.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver on all activations within an event: social media presence, product launch initiatives, product demonstrations, customer representation, peer reviews, etc.
  • Create executive level planning decks and post event summary decks for all stakeholders.
  • Manage content creation and delivery such as session titles, abstracts, logos, utilizing subject matter experts when needed.
  • Research and report creative event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as locations, food, swag, transportation, invitee lists, staffers, presenters, and equipment.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with existing internal policies (legal, health and safety).
  • Draft and manage event communications including promotion emails, staffing schedules and Know Before You Go information.
  • Proactively handle any issues that arise and troubleshoot problems on event days.
  • Manage event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes.
  • Manage lead generation data including clean-up, lead upload to S&C, sales follow-up on lead progression status.
  • Hold post-event conversations, analyse, and summarize metrics to create post-event reports including a post event email and SalesLoft cadence creations for sellers to utilize.

what we expect

  • Bachelor's degree in event management or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of related event program management experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including overseeing complex work streams across multiple functions composed of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
    independently.
  • Basic understanding of technical subjects and emerging technologies and relevance to the marketplace.
