Marketing technologists play a crucial role in driving digital transformation while collaborating closely with business partners. They possess a solid blend of IT expertise and business acumen. Their responsibilities span various areas including analytics & insights, data strategy & activation, platform integration & activation, business & technology innovation, and leadership. They seamlessly engage with marketing and media teams, spanning from ABM to Brand Director levels. They drive the creation of new business models and the enhancement of processes and capabilities. Acting as a single point of contact between marketing and IT, they focus on building organizational capability.

Responsibilities of a Marketing Technologist include:

  • Systems Integration & Architecture: Demonstrating a strong technical grasp of the ecosystem essential for driving eBusiness growth, encompassing WebPresence, Mobile, CRM, AdTech, CDP, and social media, along with the necessary system integrations for omnichannel business value.
  • Data Strategy and Activation: Steering and implementing consumer-centric data strategies, making the right technological and architectural choices to facilitate data integration, enrichment, and activation.
  • Analytics: Providing real-time insights to enhance KPIs, advising on new business models, and optimizing e-Business operations, collaborating with Data Science for operationalizing algorithms based on Big Data modeling.
  • Automation: Harnessing technology for automated data handling, processing, aggregation, and syndication using tools like APIs and JSON to allow real-time information flows and democratization of data access.
  • Stewardship for GDPR, Info-Security, and Privacy.
  • Business Transformation: Demonstrating a solid grasp of business strategies, goals, and processes and recognizing how technology can drive positive impact and transformation.
  • Strong Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively partnering across functions to drive business impact.
  • Agile IT Innovation: Leading IT innovation to introduce technological disruptions for improved e-Business outcomes within the organization.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in the digital marketing industry with a focus on Marketing Technology stack or Marketing data & analytics spanning multiple domains.
  • Demonstrated leadership in marketing technology domains and/or brand programs.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for influencing decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in digital marketing such as Online Marketing Certified Associate (OMCA).
  • Experience in leveraging data strategically to identify business use cases and enhance value.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Ads, KNIME, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Multiple experiences in various digital marketing areas such as Direct to Consumer Selling, eCommerce, CRM, Search, Web/Mobile Digital Presence & Traffic Generation, Digital Media & Programmatic Media Buying, Social Insights and Analytics, and Content Management.
