SD Worx is expanding on his new Data & Insights offering to its customers. Initiated in 2021, a set of new products and services is being deployed, enabling customers to leverage the value of their data with more flexibility and ease than ever before. The geographical and functional scope is continuously expanding, and the new products are brought to the SD Worx customers in a true agile approach: with close feedback from various pilot customers, short iterations, and a constant focus for customer benefits and value, and thus also SD Worx business value.

Team The team is working on a modern data platform full on Azure cloud, Snowflake and DBT - using serverless compute, containerized applications, CI/CD & infra as code in they daily job. Members of the team need to be experienced in the supporting disciplines (data engineering, data governance, HR analytics, product development, ...) and flexible (T-shaped, business minded, customer centric). The agile approach, with early customer involvement, requires a team of people with a can-do mentality, that will be building a cathedral, not cutting rocks.

Your responsibility :

Ability to analyze existing systems and applications, assessing data structures and data quality, and translating this information into relevant data models for analytical purposes.

Ability to acquire, structure and summarize insights on existing systems and processes.

Understand relevance of data quality, techniques for monitoring data quality, and processes and mechanisms for improving it.

Ability to take the lead in discussions with internal stakeholders and to coordinate a subproject with multiple involved parties.

Our requirements:

You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

You have extensive SQL expertise.

Experience with DBT.

Experience working with Snowflake.

Experience in building resilient data pipelines.

Have proven experience with Azure in general & at least with data factory , Git (Azure DevOps) and Python

You are experienced in working with front end tools, preferably Microsoft PowerBI, or any comparable technology (Tableau, Cognos, Qlik, ...).

You have strong communication skills (ENG) and you are able to act as a Partner for our internal Businesses.

You are eager to learn and have a result-driven mind-set.

Experience considered as a plus:

Experience in working with Docker / Kubernetes, Airflow and Linux .

Other cloud provider experience if not Azure.

Experience in agile working.

Experience in Payroll & HR.
