About the Project:

Are you up for an exciting challenge in software development and support? We are in search of a committed Software Developer. This role is centered around maintaining and troubleshooting issues reported by users during their use of our standard software. You will encounter a range of tasks, work alongside an exceptional team, and have the flexibility to work from any location in Poland.

Responsibilities:
  • Learn and apply a Special Scripting Language: You will delve into an event-driven, exclusive scripting language employed for the maintenance and enhancement of our software. This language bears resemblances to JavaScript, PHP, Python, and more. You will receive guidance from a seasoned colleague throughout this process.
  • Teamwork with the Help Desk: Collaborate with our Help Desk to scrutinize application-based procedures and craft resolutions for emerging issues.
  • Optimize Existing Code: Independently assess and enhance our code to boost the efficiency and potency of our software.
  • Data Analysis with SQL: Utilize your SQL skills to contribute to data analysis and manipulation.
  • Analyze Log Files: Identify and rectify issues by scrutinizing and interpreting log files.
Requirements Expected:
  • Education and Experience: You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, paired with practical experience in software development.
  • Senior-Level Expertise: We seek a seasoned professional with a robust career background, now keen on a role involving meticulous work, deep dives into complex issues, and methodical troubleshooting. Individuals aged 50 or older who value stability over chasing the latest tech trends are encouraged to apply.
  • SQL Skills: Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience in data manipulation are essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Your strengths include code analysis and optimization, as well as interpreting and deriving insights from log files.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: You thrive in a team environment, whether in-person or distributed, and possess strong communication abilities.
