About the Job

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our exceptional teams. As a vital member of our technology division, you will have a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our search algorithms to enhance user experience by ensuring the accuracy and relevance of search results. We are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing high-demand data-intensive products.

You Are a Perfect Match If You Have:
  • Experience in architecting, building, and scaling low-latency, high-throughput cloud-based systems
  • Knowledge of search platforms such as Elasticsearch, Solr, and custom search solutions
  • Background in Event-Driven Architecture
  • Expertise in various indexing strategies and designing effective indexing solutions for large-scale data
  • Familiarity with search analytics and the ability to analyze user behavior and search patterns for continuous improvement
  • Prior experience with AWS cloud services and extensive knowledge of K8s
  • Belief in self-aligned teams and a DevOps mentality focusing on the "you build it, you run it" philosophy
  • Experience working in a remote multi-functional team setup
  • Proficiency in JVM toolkit (Java/Kotlin) and programming skills in Go
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Playing a significant role in a dynamic Search team, showcasing technical expertise to establish credibility
  • Promoting a culture of innovation by encouraging the creation, implementation, and deployment of scalable solutions
  • Engaging in brainstorming sessions, asking thoughtful questions, and actively participating in the product development process
  • Exploring novel machine learning approaches to expand search capabilities
  • Close collaboration with the product management team to ensure product alignment for optimal user benefit
  • Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks through meticulous profiling and optimization of the search infrastructure
