About the project As an Expert Java Developer you will be working in the Data as a Service (DaaS) cell which builds products and services designed to provide barrier free, easy to use information and test data for the whole bank.

This includes data anonymization services, user interfaces and a consolidated data layer.


On a daily basis you will develop products based on java technology which are running in the Cloud (GCP) and on-prem.

Your responsibilities will encompass the full Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, architecture, testing and also supporting during production issues during normal working hours.

Your responsibilities Software Development, defect and requirements analysis, testing, bug fixing of applications
Take care of proper up-to-date system documentation
Find and implement innovative solutions for product design
Coach colleagues and end users, actively contributing to knowledge sharing and to a learning culture
Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies
Our requirements High knowledge of Java, Spring boot
Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX (Red Hat) RH 7.x
Good knowledge of Git
Optional Basic knowledge of relational and non-relational database solutions (SQL knowledge, DB design principles)
Basic knowledge of Cloud solutions/ GCP

The Big Data cluster is the enabler for data scientists and provides a huge collection of data and a data science workbench in one place.

BI technology within the lake infrastructure
Establish a stable, state-of-the-art technology base with on-prem and cloud solutions
Set up data lake as single data and analytics hub and effectively ingest most important data sources
Establish data quality and metadata management
Provide Data Marts and sandboxes for segments and functions with the most important combination of data sources
