AP Associate - Payments

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely processing of all payments based on approved invoices or relevant documents
  • Investigate and provide explanations for any rejected payments to identify root causes
  • Maintain relationships with banks alongside Zoetis Treasury Teams (ZTC) and ensure proper access and training
  • Manage currency forecasts to facilitate smooth payment transactions
  • Generate payment reports for both internal and external stakeholders, such as National Banks
  • Support the helpdesk team by addressing payment-related inquiries
  • Conduct research on the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, actively resolving any associated issues and risks
  • Ensure timely reporting of key financials while adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Oversee relevant technology systems, including month-end activities like GL and Sub-Ledger reconciliation and processing of cash disbursements
  • Maintain a strong compliance environment with a focus on SOX, internal controls, and accounting policies
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable Team Lead, P2P Manager, and Global Process Owner (GPO) to identify and implement process enhancements and best practices

Requirements:

  • Hold an Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Prior experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) roles
  • Proficiency in working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Ability to thrive in diverse team environments
  • Strong customer focus with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
