About this opportunity
We are seeking a Senior/Senior Master Software Developer to be part of our Global Network Platform (GNP) Engineering team. If you are passionate about making a technological impact in the realm of advanced 5G communication services, this dynamic environment is where you belong.
We are an R&D unit focused on innovation, rapid development, and revolutionizing the communication landscape through cutting-edge communication APIs. By enabling developers to access advanced 5G capabilities, we aim to drive the creation of new applications and services, ultimately fostering revenue growth for developers, service providers, and enterprises.
What you will do:
- Design and develop backend microservices for Kubernetes clusters.
- Ensure quality, testability, scalability, and security of implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with the team and Product Owner on requirement analysis.
- Assist in solution and architecture analysis alongside Software Architect.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and open-source solutions.
- Actively participate in agile development to deliver features End to End (E2E).
Where E2E task includes:
- Design features based on specified user stories and architecture.
- Develop automated unit tests and conduct E2E tests.
- Provide product documentation and automate installation procedures.
- Conduct bug fixes and sprint demos for stakeholders.
- Deploy solutions into the lab environment.
You will bring:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing software.
- Proficiency in microservices, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
- Strong coding skills and familiarity with Java and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented design patterns and Test-Driven development.
- Experience with Jira, Agile methodologies, and cloud technologies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and networking protocols.
You might also bring (nice to have):
- Understanding of open-source principles and cloud certifications.
- Proficiency in Python, GoLang, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience in ELK, data analytics, and database technologies.
- Knowledge of internet protocols and security.
- Familiarity with 3GPP standards.
