Are you a skilled Wonderware MES Consultant looking for a new challenge to demonstrate your abilities? We are searching for a talented and driven individual to join us as a Senior Wonderware MES Consultant.

About the role

The Arla Wonderware Platform is currently operational in various versions at over 50 dairy facilities across Europe to facilitate the daily attainment of global production objectives.

Arla IT is in the process of upgrading the Wonderware platform at all sites as a critical move to align with the company's digitalization strategy goals. Our end users in the dairies view Wonderware as a crucial industrial software platform and interface that empowers operational users to supervise and manage plant performance to achieve operational targets.

You will become a part of the Wonderware Team within our Dairy ART in the IT Solutions department, where we utilize agile methods under the SAFe framework.

You will be based in Gdansk but should anticipate approximately 20 days of travel per year mainly to our European locations.

Your daily tasks will involve close collaboration within the unit as a valuable team member and with designated business owners and external consultants.

You will play a role in the ongoing development and implementation of our Arla Wonderware System Platform to standardize operations across all our Dairies.


Responsibilities:

Specifically, you will:

  • Transition older platforms to the latest Wonderware System.
  • Develop and deploy new system features on the Wonderware Platform/InTouch.
  • Conduct performance testing in our Quality Test System
  • Deploy the solutions application to our sites, primarily through remote connections
Additionally, depending on your interests and skills, you can explore one or more of these areas:

  • Performance testing in our Quality Test System

  • SAP MII
  • Wonderware MES

Requirements Expected:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with solutions such as Wonderware MES Operations and System Platform, Wonderware Intouch, Wonderware historian, Wonderware PEM (+), Wonderware PLC drivers (DAS and OI)
  • Proficiency in MS Windows Server and MSSQL, T-SQL
  • Background in production environments or projects
  • Experience working in a diverse cultural setting
It is beneficial if you are familiar with some of these solutions and tools:

  • ERP with integration to
    SAP, MII, Active Directory, and Virtualization
  • MES Systems
  • PLC (Siemens)
  • OPC drivers like Kepware

  • SAP MII
  • Github, MS DevOps
  • Any of/or more C++ / .NET / C# /
