We are looking for a creative and ambitious Analytics & Data Architect (IS Solution Architect) who will drive our back-end data setup
at ABB Process Automation, Process Control Platform.

Your work will be focused around
Coordinating requirements towards cloud data storage solutions. Gather and document new data/analytical requirements.
Develop, test & maintain data solutions and integrations as well as setup and maintain advanced analytics & machine learning capabilities.
Support with coordination and guidance of data modelling development activities. Including standardization, architecture, technical approach, and prioritization.
Work together with stakeholders to find and improve their functions data & analytical landscape. Guide and support users and stakeholders.
Support with data management, data cleaning, data update and quality initiatives.

Your responsibilities
  • Drives the requirement gathering, specification, prioritization, development, testing and implementation of PCP data solutions for analytics applications.
  • Support both Analytics (Report creation/maintenance) and Master Data (Data management, quality enhancement and running data activities)
  • Keeps up to date with industry standards and new technologies within the area of Data, Data warehousing, Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Work with data modelling and data structures.
  • Control and monitor data availability. Report status and progress systematically.
  • Monitors and controls the data solutions and proactively identifies issues and improvements within distributed solutions.
  • Lead by example.
  • Shares knowledge and best practices among co-workers to accelerate the data and analytical capabilities within the organization.
Your background
  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience working in virtual and distributed teams. Demonstrated knowledge in defining and driving project roadmaps, plans, and effort estimation. Excellent communication skills, with a clear and open style. A curious and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work in a structured manner. Experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously (multitasking). Proficiency in Excel and O365. Preferably, knowledge in database management and programming. Fluent in English.
  • Data Structures and Algorithms: Understanding of foundational data structures such as Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, Graphs, Hash Tables, and Heaps. Familiarity with advanced data structures and algorithms like Trie, Segment Tree, Disjoint Set etc.
  • Complexity Analysis: Understanding of Big O notation, time complexity, and space complexity to analyze the efficiency of algorithms.
  • SQL and Database Concepts: Proficiency in SQL, understanding of database schemas, normalization, transactions, and indexing.
  • Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies like Snowflake, Spark, and others.
