Cost Cutter / Cost Reduction SpecialistMiejsce pracy: BydgoszczYour responsibilities- Review and analyze the company’s financial statements, budgets, and expenditures to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Evaluate current operational processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure more favorable terms and lower costs for goods and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve resource utilization, and lower overall operational costs.
- Track departmental budgets and expenses, ensuring alignment with cost reduction goals and identifying deviations that require corrective action.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on cost-saving initiatives and their impact on the company’s financial performance.
- Work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure cost-cutting measures do not adversely affect operations or employee morale.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in cost reduction to continuously drive efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost analysis, financial management, or a similar role, with a track record of successful cost reduction initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Business English skills, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
