Warsaw-based opportunity with a hybrid model (3 days x week in the office)As a GitLab Administrator (DevOps), you will be working for our client, a global provider of financial infrastructure and services supporting banking institutions and stock exchanges. The project involves maintaining and optimizing GitLab platforms to ensure robust software development workflows across geographically distributed teams.You will focus on GitLab administration, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and seamless integration with tools critical to financial operations. This role is pivotal in supporting high-stakes software delivery in a secure, compliant, and performance-driven environment.Your main responsibilities:Manage and maintain GitLab instances including installation, upgrades, and troubleshootingPlan and execute migrations of repositories, pipelines, and user configurations between GitLab environmentsDesign and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processesAdminister user accounts, permissions, and access controlsOversee repository creation and branching strategies for streamlined collaborationMonitor GitLab performance and resolve performance bottlenecksIntegrate GitLab with tools like Jira, Jenkins, and DockerCreate and update documentation related to GitLab administration and best practicesProvide technical support and guidance to development teamsEnsure adherence to security and compliance requirements in all GitLab operationsYou're ideal for this role if you have:4–6 years of experience with GitLab administration4–6 years of experience working with Unix systems1–3 years of experience with Azure cloud environmentsStrong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelinesProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)Experience with programming/application development at a good levelExperience providing help desk or technical supportVery good English skillsGitLab certification (preferred)We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
