Job Summary:

We are seeking a certified and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering complex, high-impact solutions for the investment banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, financial systems, and regulatory environments, and will be adept at managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

  • Guide Agile teams in applying Scrum principles and practices effectively

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog alignment with business and regulatory priorities

  • Remove impediments and foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement

  • Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to senior stakeholders

  • Ensure timely delivery of features related to trading platforms, risk management systems, and compliance tools

  • Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure quality and scalability

  • Support Agile transformation and maturity across investment banking technology teams

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal audit requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise software development

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

  • Experience in investment banking or capital markets (e.g., trading systems, risk engines, regulatory reporting)

  • Familiarity with financial compliance standards (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III, Dodd-Frank)

  • Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) in financial services

  • Background in software engineering or technical project management

  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
