Data Analyst will be working as part of the Data Analytics Center of Excellence (DA CoE) team and will be responsible of lead user requirements related to BI based on the technological tools available in the DA CoE solutions portfolio. Data Analyst must analyze the requirement with the Front Line and user to provide an effort estimation. Data Analyst must also coordinate the development team, always seeking compliance with the work plans and ensuring the correct documentation of the developments. Finally, Data Analyst should be able to develop dashboards in Power BI mainly.


Key responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze the requirements detail for its proper effort estimation per resource.
  • Design the best solution together with DA CoE.
  • Define internal activities for DA CoE, communicate to the FLIT and follow up the correct execution of activities.
  • Communicate the issues detected in a timely manner and present an action plan for their solution.
  • Creation / Update of documented procedures that allow optimal and accurate monitoring of projects.
  • Ensure requirements be properly documented.
  • Support the development team in the promotion through the different instances DEV, UAT and Production.
  • Define appropriate testing scenarios that guarantee the correct evaluation of them.
  • Maintain efficient communication with Front Line IT and DA CoE throughout the entire project.
  • Coordinate and guarantee the correct implementation in production of the developments.
  • Resolution of conflicts between the business users and the development team.
  • Incidents and requests follow-up and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with security IT guidelines for new developments.
  • Report weekly activity progress.
  • Collaborate in the research and evaluation of new technologies to the area of DA CoE.
  • Develop dashboards in Power BI aligned to corporate standards.
  • Publish Power BI dashboards in Premium service


The Data Analyst will quickly contribute to PPG by achieving the following objectives in their first 12 months:

  • Establish a beneficial work way among projects process.
  • Build and foster a relationship around the IT
  • Alignment to Data Analytics strategy
  • Improve the requirements attention procedure making it agile and effective.
  • Work on improving the internal collaboration environment.
  • Address system incidents/issues. Critical to this function is the ability to quickly assess and address system issues within established SLAs.
  • The Data Analyst should demonstrate the ability to produce agreed upon results without close supervision.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence projects.
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate assigned business area’s products and processes.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Strong knowledge in Business Intelligence concepts.
  • Experience in Power BI.
