Senior Data Engineer


Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining data pipelines using AWS (Lambda, Redshift, Glue, S3)

  • Implementing data transformation, automation, and quality control in SQL and Python

  • Creating and updating technical documentation

  • Working with TypeScript

  • Integrating external data via API and working with Snowflake

  • Using automation tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and CI/CD practices

  • Managing data quality using available tools (e.g. iCEDQ, Collibra)

  • Ensuring secure data processing and management

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AWS – experience with data processing, storage, and orchestration services (such as AWS Lambda, Redshift, Glue, S3)

  • Advanced SQL and Python skills – building pipelines, data transformation and quality checks, automation, and integration

  • Working knowledge of Typescript and ability to create and maintain technical documentation

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and API integration

  • Familiarity with automation tools (GitHub Actions)

  • Data quality management (preferably using iCEDQ, Collibra)

  • Experience with CI/CD best practices and secure data management

  • Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written communication; able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders; regular project updates

  • Teamwork: Works effectively in cross-functional teams; supports code reviews and knowledge sharing

  • Problem solving: Systematic approach to diagnosing, evaluating, and resolving issues; escalation as appropriate

  • Ownership: Takes responsibility for assignments, communicates risks, and meets commitments

  • Adaptability: Quick to adapt to changes, eager to learn new technologies, responsive to feedback

  • Time management: Realistic estimation and reporting; escalation when the scope changes

  • Stakeholder focus: Understands business needs, manages expectations, negotiates trade-offs

  • Quality & Detail: Writes clear code, performs thorough testing, documents key decisions

  • Security awareness: Follows data protection and secure coding standards

  • Professionalism & cultural fit: Demonstrates openness, respect, and represents the company positively

  • Remote work competence: Reliable setup and disciplined communication (both synchronous and asynchronous)

  • English language at minimum B2+ level (Upper-Intermediate): Required for clear communication with the team and stakeholders
