The ideal candidate for this role should be able to:
- Design, code, perform unit tests, document and implement new applications & as well as existing programs.
- Contribute to enhancements and changes to existing B2B applications codebase.
- Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security and Java/J2EE best practices.
- Produce code that adheres to all outlined security standards, is easily maintainable and has high system performance.
- Work closely with the project team and other groups (e.g. Development, Network, QA, Ops, Engineering)
- Work as a team member responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Solutions / B2B / Core line of products.
- Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate; to ensure the quality of work delivered by oneself and teammates follows the best development standards.
- Interact with business units to define requirements/modifications and use cases to utilise in designing appropriate solutions.
This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.
Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.
