Senior Platform Engineer

About The Role As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving the foundational platforms that power our products and engineering teams. You will own critical components of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD tooling, deployment automation, and observability stack. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the systems that our teams depend on every day.In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, system administrators, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our platform is secure, resilient, and friction-free. You will help shape best practices, mentor team members, and drive initiatives that elevate our engineering productivity and operational excellence.This is an ideal position for an experienced Platform Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving developer experience, and enabling teams to build and ship software with confidence.Desired Experience: min. 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps Engineer or similarSignificant experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for GCP)Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and managementAbility to design and write Helm chartsHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub ActionsExperience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g.: ArgoCD)Familiarity with Job scheduling and executing tools (e.g.: Argo Workflows)Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and TerragruntStrong knowledge of Docker for containerizationAdvanced skills in PythonA strong commitment to best practices and ensuring the high security of designed solutionsThe following skills will be crucial:Design, build, and maintain cloud-based platforms that support scalable and secure application deployment.Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to improve reliability and reduce lead times.Enhance infrastructure observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system health and incident readiness.Streamline operations by automating repetitive tasks and improving internal tooling.Partner with engineering teams to understand their needs, remove friction, and provide efficient platform capabilities.Influence architectural decisions related to infrastructure, deployment, and reliability.Ensure high availability, security, and performance of production environments through robust engineering practices.Lead technical initiatives, share best practices, and mentor peers to elevate overall platform maturity.
