Senior General Ledger Accountant with FrenchMiejsce pracy: WrocławYour responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and review of high-complexity journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS and company policies
  • Oversee reconciliations for critical balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies and identifying root causes
  • Manage key aspects of the month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Provide technical expertise to address complex accounting scenarios and ensure compliance with evolving regulations and standards
  • Share knowledge and support junior staff in challenging GL operations
Our requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced certification required
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or a similar function
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Excel, including modeling and data analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and proven ability to handle complex accounting tasks and regulatory compliance
  • Fluency in English, and proficiency in French is a plus
  • Open for hybrid work model with 2–3 days per week on-site in Wrocław
  • Residing in Poland required

The Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant at the IC 5 level is a highly experienced professional responsible for managing complex general ledger activities, ensuring the integrity of financial records, and driving process improvements. This role acts as a technical expert within the accounting function, provides strategic insights to leadership, and mentors team members to enhance overall operational excellence.
