The Role

Rhapsody is looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to craft and elevate the user experience across digital projects. You will drive the design process from discovery to delivery, turning ideas into intuitive and visually engaging solutions. Working closely with clients and developers, you’ll ensure every product is both beautiful and functional, while promoting best design practices within the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and run UX Design Sprints.

  • Conduct UX workshops with clients and stakeholders (client-facing role).

  • Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI deliverables.

  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth design-to-dev handover.

  • Advise on technical possibilities and limitations across platforms (e-commerce, CMS, mobile apps, custom builds).

  • Apply basic HTML & CSS knowledge to validate feasibility and support dev cooperation.

  • Present concepts and design solutions persuasively to clients.

  • Support and mentor junior designers, championing UX best practices.

  • Contribute to project estimations and scoping.

  • Support preparation of proposals, solution recommendations, and pitching for digital projects.

  • You will have a keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to present effectively to your team and clients alike.

  • Proven experience in responsive design and multi-device projects.

  • Provide a strong understanding of user journeys, site architecture and user interfaces.

  • Scope projects and provide realistic timescales.

  • Have a thorough insight into the client’s business objectives and key deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in facilitating UX workshops and Design Sprints.

  • C2 English (Advanced) language level as a minimum.

  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX and UI design work.

  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

  • Understanding of development workflows and technical constraints.

  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS basics.

  • Experience with accessibility and inclusive design.

  • Familiarity with agile processes.

  • Experience with design systems and scalable UI components.

  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and design tools such as Figma/Sketch.
