You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases, enhancing test frameworks, and integrating automation within CI/CD pipelines to identify issues early in the development cycle. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on improving testing processes and software quality. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and other QA Engineers to test and deliver new product featuresAnalyse business requirements, internal designs, and non-functional requirementsParticipate in user story estimation and sprint planningDesign and maintain automated test frameworks for API and mobile testingImplement BDD/TDD practices across all software solutionsWrite and execute automated test scripts to achieve strong regression and integration coveragePerform exploratory manual testing when needed and document edge casesReview system logs, monitor databases, and identify opportunities for automationIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelinesFollow industry best practices to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability of testing processes Expected competences and knowledge3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer in a modern software development environmentHands-on experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, preferably in a microservices architectureProven experience with API automation (REST APIs, integration testing) and mobile automation (iOS and Android)Strong BDD/TDD background, with emphasis on automation over manual testingGood understanding of the test pyramid and experience designing maintainable test frameworksExperience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with SpecFlowWorking knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databasesExperience with Git-based version control systems (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket)Experience working in Agile environments (preferably Kanban)Nice to HaveExperience in the payments industry or familiarity with PCI DSS standardsExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Technologies you'll work withTypeScript or JavaScriptSpecFlow Playwright, Swagger, SeleniumAppium, Android StudioSQLJira, Confluence Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?JIT Team has recently started a collaboration with this UK-based software and payments company, employing over 900 people and operating its Polish office in Kraków.
