Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for: Cloud Native Infrastructure Engineer – Kubernetes Bare Metal


Responsibilities:

  • Provision, configure, and administer Kubernetes clusters, including management of control plane components and overall cluster operations

  • Manage bare-metal provisioning processes (PXE/iPXE, IPMI/BMC tooling), and operate or extend Kubernetes operators for bare-metal environments (e.g., Metal-API, metal-operator)

  • Implement and maintain multi-cluster management solutions using frameworks such as Gardener or similar platforms

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation and operational guides, ensuring clarity and usability for engineering teams

  • Collaborate on designing and operating infrastructure with a focus on bare-metal cloud environments, including networking fundamentals and integration with Kubernetes

  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of Kubernetes-based infrastructure in bare-metal deployments

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support automation, standardization, and operational excellence in cluster lifecycle management

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster provisioning and administration (control plane components, etc.)

  • Knowledge of bare-metal provisioning (PXE/iPXE, IPMI/BMC tooling) and related Kubernetes operators (e.g. experience with Metal-API/metal-operator

  • Familiarity with Gardener or similar Kubernetes multi-cluster management frameworks

  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and installation guides

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking basics on bare metal is a plus
