Our primary focus is building Managed Development Teams for companies seeking to accelerate growth, solve complex tech problems, build MVP/POC and/or modify legacy infrastructures.

The main areas of competence include Product & Application Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Security & Managed Services and AI & Data Enablement.

We are looking for a very experienced and results-driven Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong presales and delivery background, excellent English communication skills, and German as a valued addition.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven expertise in pre-sales activities, including effectively mapping client needs to business growth opportunities (consulting acumen) and transforming them into solution proposals with responsibilities such as estimations, structuring of proposals, and recommending the most efficient delivery model.

• Strong communication skills working with stakeholders on C-level and clearly articulating strategies, plans and reporting progress.

• Measurable goals and performance tracking proven metrics-driven approach to verifying teams performance and reporting progress to client (upstram)

• Strong team leadership skills to build and manage a high-performing technical team capable of software delivery building new software components as well as complex integrations with existing systems ideally experience managing technical teams of at least 10 big scale projects across multiple industries.

• Managing stakeholders and mixed teams with client staff

• Extensive experience in managing complex software development projects (Managed Development Teams), ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Experience in vetting technical experts and mentoring and developing a team of Technical Consultants and Developers, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and oversee full SDL processes, implementing software projects using industry best practices.

• Conduct discovery workshops to gather client requirements and define project strategies, and tailored solutions aligned with client needs and emerging trends.

• Plan and oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.

• Monitor project scope, budgets, and schedules across a projects portfolio.

• Assemble teams, manage and mentor a team of Technical Consultants, and Developers.

• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions considering existing landscape.

• Closely collaborate with the sales team providing technical insights during pre-sales processes, including workload estimations and solution proposal preparation.

• Implement tools and processes to enhance project tracking, reporting, and risk management.

• Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and competitor strategies.

• Recommend tools, frameworks, and methodologies to optimize project delivery.

• Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners to build trust and collaboration.

• Identify and drive opportunities for innovation within the company.

• Use a data-driven approach to monitor team performance and service quality.

• Analyze project outcomes to refine processes and replicate successes.

Our requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in software delivery processes on high-end software house grade, with a proven track record of managing teams and projects preferably in a software house or experience on professional service provisioning side.

• Sales expertise: Experience in pre-sales activities (consulting acumen) - including project estimations, technical recommendations, and proposal preparation.

• Team Management: Proven ability to manage technical teams of at least 10–15 members.

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, system architectures, and modern IT technologies.

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Languages: Fluent English (C1). German proficiency is a significant advantage.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with trends in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps.

• Ownership of Delivery Management across a broader portfolio of projects.
