We are searching for a skilled and experienced remote Senior PHP Developer to be a driving force behind our web applications for our esteemed client. Your expertise in Symfony and Back-End Development will be a key asset, driving the success of our projects.



Responsibilities
  • Implement new features in members area, payment gateway and other projects
  • Maintain and refactor various projects
  • Design and implement web applications using Symfony framework
  • Collaborate closely with other Developers to ensure efficient, well-documented, and easily maintainable code
  • Work in an Agile work environment that fosters flexibility and adaptability
  • Approach projects with creativity and ingenuity
  • Write unit tests using PHPUnit
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development

Requirements
  • BSc/MSc in Information Technology/Computer Science, or any other relevant degree
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Very good knowledge of PHP7
  • Very good understanding of object-oriented programming principles (OOP, OOD, SOLID)
  • Deep understanding of best security practices
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience with Symfony Framework
  • Good understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, HTML, JavaScript
  • Proficiency with automated tests – functional tests, PHP Unit tests
  • Experience in the development of REST APIs (creating/consuming APIs)
  • Knowledge of GIT
  • Experience with consuming 3rd party web services
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have
  • Hand on experience in the field of the payment integration or queuing systems would be considered as a huge advantage
