Active in over 90 countries and 20,000 cities, Arrive helps make urban mobility smarter and travel easier through solutions like smart payments, optimized parking, and EV charging. It’s about more than movement—it’s about creating more livable cities and better travel experiences.We are looking for a full-stack developer with a backend focus, but frontend skills will come in handy as well. You will be working on complex data processing/management systems and an end user facing applications on a global level. This person is expected to perform a full development cycle from analysis and story writing to implementation and production support.Everyday life as a Software Engineer: Collaborate with teams in different areas of the business to understand the complex relationship between hardware and softwareUnderstand requirements for the integration and data elements from those areasAcquire and document every aspect of the different areas to understand the solution at handDevelop and implement the new communication between the two areas and ensure correct communication of all the necessary data What you bring:Hands-on development experience in Java or Kotlin, with a focus on backend systemsProficiency in the Spring Boot framework and the wider Spring ecosystemExperience with database migration tools such as Flyway or LiquibaseFamiliarity with React and JavaScript for frontend contributionsSolid understanding of RESTful API design and consumptionExperience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub ActionsStrong skills in data modeling and use of tools like PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and LookerBonus points for experience with Kafka, Docker, and KubernetesAbility to write robust automated tests and commitment to maintaining code qualityDeep understanding of clean code principles, and a drive to build scalable, maintainable systems Our offer:In addition to great company and challenging projects, we can offer much much more, i.e.knowledge sharing within our companyagile and friendly atmosphere, non-violent communication and full respect for diversitypossibility to choose from onsite (in Lodz, Poland) or hybrid work (in our office in Łódź city center)Remuneration: 19 000 - 22 000 PLN gross/ month on the Employment Agreement (UoP)
