About the Project
Currently we are looking for Senior Java Developer who will join a team working on projects from logistics industry.
You will join the team which will be responsible for building and maintaining core services in a greenfield project in the e-commerce sector.
100% remote work.
Job Responsibilities
Design, implementation and testing of high-performance microservices in Java on a cloud-based infrastructure
Proposing improvements to the current applications
Advocate an engineering culture of quality, good development principles and innovation from inside your team
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including System Design and RFC documents
Collaborate with testers and other team members, and be willing to mentor team members when necessary
Expectations
5+ years of solid commercial experience as Java Developer
Java development experience including knowledge of common tooling such as Spring, MVP
Knowledge of traditional software development processes and tools, including Maven/Gradle, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Code Reviews and CI/CD.
Hands-on experience developing microservices using modern technologies such as Apache Kafka, REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructure (GCP preferred)
Experienced in taking ownership of tasks, commitments, quality, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in an Agile/Scrum environment - proactive and supportive attitude
Fluency in English (B2+)
Nice to have: Kotlin experience
