Position Overview:

For one of our partners, we are seeking a Microsoft Developer who will be responsible for Microsoft Developer with Power Apps, Power Automate & Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

Essentials:

Core Technical Skills

These are essential for working directly with Dataverse and Power Platform:

• Microsoft Dataverse: Deep understanding of data modeling, tables, relationships, and integration capabilities.

• Power Fx: Proficiency in writing formulas for canvas apps and Dataverse logic.

• Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven): Experience building and customizing apps; certification (e.g., PL-100 or PL-400) is a plus.

• Power Automate: Ability to design and optimize flows for process automation.

• Relational Database Experience: Understanding of normalization, indexing, and query optimization.

Soft Skills & Consulting Experience

Since this is a consultant role, these are just as important:

• Solution Architecture: Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Business Analysis: Understanding business processes and translating them into technical solutions.

• Communication Skills: Clear documentation, stakeholder engagement, and training capabilities.

Nonessentials:

Web Development & Customization

Useful for extending app functionality and customizing UI:

• JavaScript & HTML/CSS: Intermediate knowledge for customizing forms and controls in model-driven apps.

• TypeScript: Optional but beneficial for more structured client-side scripting.

• PCF (PowerApps Component Framework): Experience building custom components is a strong plus.

Integration & Backend Skills – a plus, but not essential

For connecting Dataverse with other systems:

• Azure Functions / Logic Apps: For advanced automation and integration scenarios.

• REST APIs / OData: Experience with Dataverse Web API for CRUD operations and integration.

• Microsoft Graph API: Useful for integrating with Microsoft 365 services.
